PoaVac PRRS Live Vaccine

● Composition (per 1 dose)
- Lyophilized live virus : PRRSV (LMY-BP chimera strain), ≥10³.⁸ TCID₅₀
- Immunostimulants : HSP70 (10 µg), HSPX (10 µg)
- Stabilizer : 20% TPGG
- Diluent : ① Intramuscular : 2 mL, ② Intradermal : 0.5 mL
● Administration and Dosage
Reconstitute the lyophilized vaccine with the sterile diluent and shake well.
Vaccination Schedule
Piglets: 3-5 weeks old, via IM or ID route
Sows: 6-8 weeks before farrowing, IM only
Method:intramuscular (IM): 2 mL per pig in the neck
intradermal (ID): 0.5 mL per pig
● Efficacy
Reduces clinical symptoms caused by North American PRRSV in piglets
Induces strong maternal immunity, lowers viremia, and reduces reproductive losses
(e.g., abortions) in pregnant sows
● Shelf Life and Storage
- 24 months from manufacturing date
- Store at 2–8°C away from direct sunlight
● Packaging
- a. 10-dose unit: 1 vial of 10-dose live attenuated vaccine and its corresponding diluent
(for intramuscular injection: 20 mL, for intradermal injection: 5 mL) - b. 50-dose unit: 1 vial of 50-dose live attenuated vaccine and its corresponding diluent
(for intramuscular injection: 100 mL, for intradermal injection: 25 mL)
