On the 13th, Korea Somevet Co., Ltd. (CEO Kim Dal-joong) and Biopoa Co., Ltd. (CEO Cho Seon-hee) held a ‘Seminar to Commemorate the Launch of Poavac PRRS Live Vaccine for Sows’ in the conference room on the 4th floor of the Harim Holdings building in Iksan-si, Jeollabuk-do.
The seminar emphasized the safety and protective efficacy of the highly pathogenic PRRS vaccine, which follows the launch of the "Poavac PRRS Live Vaccine" for piglets in 2022 and is now available for sows. Furthermore, the fact that vaccination can be administered up to six weeks before farrowing, as indicated by the Animal Pharmaceuticals label, raises expectations that this will address the frequent occurrence of false positives in late pregnancy.
